visiting jersey city
i'm lucky to have a friend in j.c. aaron is the coolest thing to come out of indiana since james dean. and his neighborhood is full of little gems. these pix were taken there in december.
a look around the city and the infrastructure of my mind. rotting piers is an inspiration from a dream about my old job wherein i returned to collect some belongings and found out the building was gone. it was built on a decaying pier and had fallen into the east river. i think this is a good operating metaphor for bygone things. i thought about punning on it and calling the blog "rotting peers", but my peers are actually pretty sturdy and nice people.
